2020 Member Match Play

June – October 2020

FORMAT

The match play season long tournament will be limited to 32 Players. First 32 members to sign up are guaranteed a spot. Additional signups will be placed on a waiting list. Signup Deadline: Monday May 25, 2020
All players must have handicap established in USGA GHIN system at Viniterra.
Players will be split into two flights of 16 players based on course/tee handicap.
Participants will play matches within their flight. The Flight A winner will play the Flight B winner to determine the champion.
Tee must be declared upon tournament signup.
Seeding within each flight will be done randomly.
Course/Tee handicap on the day of the match should be used to determine strokes. The stroke difference between the higher and lower handicap will be used to determine the strokes given to the higher handicap player. Ex. Player 1 is a 5 from the white tees, while Player 2 is an 8 from the gold tees, Player 2 receives 3 strokes on the 3 lowest handicap holes.
Unplayed matches can be forfeit by either player. If no one forfeits, the match will be decided by a coin toss by the Pro Shop.
Tournament Championship Matches
- A Flight Champion vs B Flight Champion
  - Winner – 1st Place
  - Runner Up – 2nd Place
- A Flight Runner Up vs B Flight Runner Up
  - Winner – 3rd Place
  - Runner Up – 4th Place

SCHEDULE

Matches will be played within a designated month. However, if your next match is set, feel free to schedule early with your opponent.

Elite Eight – July
Final Four – August
Flight Championship – September
Tournament Championship – October

Players should coordinate when to play their matches. However, when possible, matches should be played during the Member weekend reserved tee times. Please be courteous to others.
